This IRWIN® HANSON™ 25-Piece Metric Tap and Die Set is great for auto repair and machinery where metric threads are specified. Each tap has straight flutes that are ground for rapid chip removal and efficient threading. Designed for hand-threading work in various materials, these taps produce a class 2B thread. The dies are suited for use with hexagonal die stock handles and can be used with a wrench or socket in tight areas. The taps and dies feature high-carbon steel construction for durability.
